HM (Medium Flange H-shaped Steel): Flange width is moderate, suitable for both beam and column applications.

HN (Narrow Flange H-shaped Steel): Narrow flanges and high webs, suitable for beams (excellent bending resistance).

Specification Example:

HN400×200: Section height 400mm, flange width 200mm.
