Recently, our Costa Rican client, Mr. Hussein, visited our steel plate factory for an on-site inspection and technical exchange. During the visit, our team accompanied Mr. Hussein to tour the entire production base and demonstrated the full process from production and storage to quality inspection.
In the production area, we focused on introducing the fully automated production line capable of stably supplying ASTM A709 Grade 50 steel plates. This production line can also produce other commonly used American standard steel plates, including ASTM A36 and A572 Grade 50. All the aforementioned American standard steel plates can achieve stable supply through this advanced production line.
Afterwards, we went to the warehouse together. There, SGS inspectors were conducting work on-site. We took samples for scratch testing, tensile testing, and other professional inspections, confirming that the materials fully meet the ASTM A709 standard requirements.
Mr. Hussein also inspected our large finished product warehouse, which is stocked with various American standard steel plates such as A36 and A572 Grade 50, with ample inventory to support rapid shipment for overseas customers.
We also showcased the rolling process, where the processing size can be adjusted from 3000 millimeters to 1500 millimeters, with precise adjustments to length and width through multiple rounds of rolling. In addition, all steel plates undergo 100% ultrasonic testing (UT). Although the steel plates have already been tested once by UT on the production line, many clients, including our Costa Rican customers, still request a secondary UT inspection by SGS to ensure zero defects and higher reliability of the products.
This on-site inspection enhanced mutual trust and understanding between both parties. They conducted in-depth discussions on product specifications, quality control, and subsequent orders, laying a solid foundation for long-term cooperation between our company and our Costa Rican partners.
