Sheet pile walls are formed when interconnecting steel sheets are vibrated into the soil and interlocked to form a continuous, water-tight steel barrier. Soldier piles walls (soldier pile and lagging systems) are composed of vertical steel soldier piles which are spaced apart with timber or steel lagging between them to retain the soil, it doesn’t have the full continuous sealing.
