Building Dreams with Love: China Royal Steel Donates to Support “Sunshine Breakfast” for Students in Liangshan

Our Executive Director received touching feedback from Sichuan Suoma Charity Foundation. The fundraising, driven by the company and its employees during the "Opening PK event", has been officially put into the "Suoma Flower Sunshine Breakfast Project" in Liangshan. With this another landmark event, the company once again demonstrated its ethos of corporate responsibility by putting words into action.

1:1 Matching Donation: Powering the "Sunshine Breakfast"

During the toasty "Opening PK Activity" staff at China Royal Steel were none too generous, personal contributions from their pockets to the tune of 7,500 RMB. To make this even more impact­ful, the company doubled these donations with a 1:1 match, contributing another 7,500 RMB, bringing the total special fund to 15,000 RMB.

These funds were directed to the foundation to specifically enhance the nutritional quality of breakfast for students in the mountainous regions of Liangshan. According to the project feedback:

A Good Start: Children In Care are now receiving fresh eggs and milk on a daily basis.

Effect on Health: The previously inadequate morning meal for these children has been revolutionized by this measure, so that they now have the strength to enable them to attend school and grow.
