    Steel Sheet Pile Production process

    1.Raw Material Preparation:
    We choose good quality steel billets or slabs as raw materials to meet the strength, high performance and long service life of steel sheet piles.

    2.Heating:
    The steel billets are reheated at high temperature in a reheating furnace for softening to adapt to rolling.

    3.Hot Rolling:
    Then pass through several rolling mills, and bent into final required U type, Z type, straight web sheet pile profile with given dimension and interlock structure.

    4.Shaping and Forming:
    The sheet piles are shaped with high accuracy in the rolling process to achieve a good interlock, good bending resistance and stable structure.

    5.Cooling Process:
    The steel sheet piles are air- or water- cooled after thermal treatment while maintaining heat treatment properties to further eliminate the internal stress.

    6.Straightening:
    The cooled sheet piles are straightened by advanced precision leveling machine to guarantee the flatness, dimension tolerance and installation performance.

    7.Cutting to Length:
    Then, based on project requirements and international norms, the sheet piles will be cut into a number of customized lengths.

    Americas:HDG as ASTM A123 (min zinc coat ≥ 85 µm); 3PE coating is optional; all finishes RoHS compliant.

    Southeast Asia:The combination of hot dip galvanizing (≥100 μm) with dual layer epoxy coal tar coating resulted in more than 5000 hours of salt spray protection, which can be used as a reference in tropical marine environment.

    APPLICATION

    1.Excavation Shoring: In city utilities, subway station excavation, or cellar construction, u-shaped sheet piling is driven into the ground to form temporary or permanent soil retaining walls or working walls.

    2.Cofferdams: U-shaped steel sheet piles are interlocked both horizontally and vertically to create a closed ring (cofferdam) here for bridge-pier construction or under water work.

    3.Marine & Port Construction: The dock walls may also be lined with u-shaped steel sheet piles functioning as revetments.

    4.Flood Control & Seepage Barriers: In dam reinforcing and river management, U-shaped steel sheet piles are submerged in water as impervious curtains.
