Swage Locked Steel Grating
Swage Locked Steel Grating Swage Locked Steel grating is a durable, yet versatile floor solution made by inserting be hollow tube cross bars into pre-punched bearing bars and then locking the two with a unique mechanical swaging process. Ideally suited for both industrial and architectural applications due to its high load capacity, architectural appearance, and structural stability.
The very popular 7-SL-4 swage locked steel grating has narrow openings for use in general areas and is commonly used in the public areas, sidewalks, and platforms where good holds for pedestrians and drainage is a must.

Dovetail Pressure Locked Steel Grating
Dovetail Pressure Locked Steel Grating is based on the standard pressure locked system and can be up to 2 1/2 times the bar depth in thickness! It is assembled by pushing standard pre-punched bearing bars and rectangular cross bars into an “egg-crate” shape and then pressing them at high hydraulic strength to create a powerful mechanical joint. This process yields superior stability, load capacity, and a crisp architectural look.
The distinctive visual effect between the deep cross bars of Type “DT” steel grating and its closely spaced bearing bars make it a unique architectural solution for sunshades and facades as well as infill panels, platforms and decorative structures.

Surface Finish

Steel Grating Banding
Standard Trim Banding
The bar strip that is welded to the end of the grating panel is the height and thickness of that of the load-bearing bars. This also present a uniform look on all faces of the grating panel.
Trench Banding
The band bar is shorter in height than the bearing bars, and is thus raised up from the bottom of the bearing bars. This banding technique permits more drainage as liquids are not trapped between the support and grating.
