Q235B/Q355B Steel Sheet Pile Locking and waterproof performance
Design: Interlocking Steel Sheet Pile, permeability ≤1×10⁻⁷ cm/s
Americas: Meets ASTM D5887 Standard for a Liner to Reduce Seepage Under Drums
Southeast Asia: Groundwater-seepage proof for tropical rainy seasons
Q235B/Q355B Steel Sheet Pile Production process
Step 1: Heating. High-quality steel billets/blooms are placed in a heating furnace and heated to above 1200°C to give them good plasticity.
Step 2: Hot Rolling. The red-hot steel billets are gradually rolled into U- or Z-shaped profiles using multiple sets of large, shaped rolls. Hot rolling ensures the dimensional accuracy and tightness of the interlocks.
Step 3: Finishing & Sawing. The billets are sawn to length according to customer requirements (typically 6m, 9m, 12m, or 15m).
Step 4: Cooling & Straightening. After natural cooling, the billets are passed through a straightening machine to ensure the straightness of the pile body meets international standards.
Q235B/Q355B Steel Sheet Pile Surface
Americas:HDG as ASTM A123 (min zinc coat ≥ 85 µm); 3PE coating is optional; all finishes RoHS compliant.
Southeast Asia:A thick hot-dip galvanizing layer (≥100μm) with dual epoxy coal tar coating provides more than 5000 hours of salt spray protection, which is suitable for use in tropical marine environment.
APPLICATION
Harbor Construction: Used in the construction of harbors, docks and piers with high load bearing capacity and durability under marine environment.
River Defense: For bank restoration, erosion protection and flow of water and flood protection along rivers.
Bridge Foundations: Excellent for deep foundation applications and stability in heavy structural loading.
Subterranean Installations: Designed for basements, tunnels and other underground structures, it allows soil to be safely retained while work takes place on excavation shoring.
