Universal Beam production process
Preparation of Raw Material:
The major materials—iron ore, lime stone, coal and oxygen—are Sponsored to have a production with no stalling and no waste of time.
Smelting:
The raw materials are melted into molten iron in a blast furnace. The molten iron is refined in a converter or electric furnace, after removal of the slag, by varying the composition through the oxygen flow and pouring parameters so as to obtain the best composition for rolling.
Rolling:
The molten iron is cast into billets, and then the billets are passed through rolling mills to get channel steel with certain size. Water cooling is used all the way for temperature and quality control .
Cut or Keep:
Channel steel can be cut into various lengths according to customer's requirement by flame cutting, sawing, or welding. Each segment is qualified by quality detection.
Testing:
They are tested for dimensions, weight, mechanical properties and chemical composition from the final products. Only the qualified products can be sold.
