    Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet coated with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective rust prevention method that is often used, and about half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

    According to the production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:

    Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. Dip the thin steel plate into the molten zinc tank to make the thin steel plate with a layer of zinc adhered to its surface. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used for production, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a galvanizing tank with molten zinc to make a galvanized steel plate;

    Alloy galvanized steel. This type of steel is also produced using the hot-dip galvanizing method, but is immediately heated to approximately 500°C after exiting the tank to form a zinc-iron alloy film. This type of galvanized steel exhibits excellent paint adhesion and weldability.

    Electrogalvanized steel. Galvanized steel produced using the electroplating method offers excellent workability, but the coating is thinner and its corrosion resistance is inferior to that of hot-dip galvanized steel.

    1. Corrosion resistance, paintability, formability, and spot weldability.

    2. Widely used, primarily in small appliance components requiring high aesthetics. However, it is more expensive than SECC, leading many manufacturers to switch to SECC to save costs.

    3. Classification by zinc layer: The size of the zinc spangles and the thickness of the zinc layer reflect the quality of the galvanizing process; the smaller the spangles and the thicker the zinc layer, the better. Manufacturers may also add anti-fingerprint treatment. Additionally, grades can be differentiated by the coating layer; for example, Z12 indicates a total coating of 120g/mm on both sides.

    Application

    Galvanized sheet and strip steel products are mainly used in industries such as construction, light industry, automobile, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery, and commerce.
    1. Roofing and Wall Materials: Galvanized sheet offers excellent weather resistance, resisting rain, snow, ultraviolet rays, and other natural factors. It is often processed into corrugated steel sheets and color-coated galvanized sheet (a color coating applied over the zinc coating).

      Steel Structural Components: In building steel structures, such as purlins, supports, and keels, galvanized sheet can be formed into various profiles through cold bending.

      Municipal Facilities: Used in the manufacture of municipal facilities such as streetlight poles, traffic signs, guardrails, and trash cans. These products are exposed to the elements for extended periods of time, and the galvanized coating effectively protects them from corrosion caused by rain, dust, and other factors, reducing maintenance costs.

      Body Parts: Galvanized sheet (especially hot-dip galvanized sheet) is widely used in automotive body panels (such as doors and hood linings), chassis components, and floor panels due to its excellent weldability and corrosion resistance.

      Automotive Interiors and Accessories: Some automotive interior support structures and seat frames also use galvanized sheet to prevent corrosion in humid environments (such as air conditioning condensation).

      Galvanized sheet metal is often used for the exterior and interior of appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and water heaters.

      Metal packaging containers: Galvanized sheet metal can be used to make various packaging barrels (such as paint cans and chemical raw material barrels). Its airtightness and corrosion resistance protect the contents (especially liquids or corrosive substances) from leakage and deterioration.

      Packaging pallets and racking: In logistics and warehousing, pallets and racking made of galvanized sheet metal offer high strength and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for humid warehouse environments and durable despite repeated use.

      Agricultural equipment: Used in greenhouse frames and fences, galvanized sheet metal's corrosion resistance allows for long-term use in the high humidity of greenhouses.

      Livestock equipment: Galvanized sheet metal can be used in fences, feeding troughs, ventilation ducts, and other applications in livestock sheds to resist corrosion from animal waste and flushing water, keeping the equipment clean and durable.

      Machinery manufacturing: Galvanized sheet metal can be used in machine tool housings, protective covers for mechanical equipment, and conveyor pipes to protect equipment from oil, moisture, and other corrosion in the working environment, extending its service life.

      Power industry: Used to make switch cabinet housings and cable trays in substations. These components need to remain stable in the complex environment of the power system, and the protective effect of the galvanized layer is crucial.

    For samples, the lead time is about 7 days.    For mass production, the lead time is 5-20 days after receiving the deposit payment.    The lead times become effective when

    (1) we have received your deposit, and (2) we have your final approval for your products.    If our lead times do not work with your deadline, please go over your requirements with your sale.    In all cases we will try to accommodate your needs.    In most cases we are able to do so.

    5.   What kinds of payment methods do you accept?

    30% in advance by T/T, 70% will be before shippment basic on FOB;     30% in advance by T/T, 70% against the copy of BL basic on CIF.
