Padding: In order to prevent surface scratches or the "strangulation marks" caused by the straps, a small amount of rubber or heavy-duty foam is placed at the beams and strap contact points.
Anti-Sliding: The beams in a bundle must be really well aligned. For shorter lengths, two-line bundling is sufficient, for longer pieces, additional support points can prevent bending and/or sliding.
Indoor Storage/Transport: If the steel has been pre-painted or otherwise finished, it needs to be wrapped in a moisture barrier such as plastic film or kraft paper.
Outdoor Transport: For rail, oversea, bulk transport double-layer waterproof tarpaulins can be provided as standard to keep you from raining, hating in sea.
